Beattie’s Bakes is a small, independently run business in the Scottish Borders that prides itself for providing the highest quality cakes and bakes. Having baked all her life, the owner, Nicole, is striving to follow her dreams and share her passion for baking.

'First Bite' Coffee Shop in Langholm's Market Place gives everyone the chance to sample Beattie's Bakes along with a wide range of delicious choices for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.

Situated just off the A7 on the outskirts of the town, this vibrant cafe serves wholesome food and snacks every day apart from Tuesday when they are closed. Free onsite parking and toilets available. Situated next to the Ewes Water Lodge Cabins, there is outdoor seating for when the weather is favourable. 

A Community run cafe which sits within the Parish Church is a non-profit organisation. Run by volunteers, there is often an art exhibition by local artists running with artwork available to purchase.      

Open every Wednesday 1.30-4pm serving home baking and refreshements.

Sit back, relax and enjoy a refreshment in the coffee bar within the historic tower named after the infamous reiver, Johnnie Armstrong. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and home-baking are on offer througout the day. 

We offer a good choice of home made lunches and light snacks from 12.00pm - 2.30pm, including soup of the day, a wonderful array of home baking and a Barista to make you coffee from 10.30am. We have a licenced bar with a varied range of wines, beers and spirits, free WiFi and comfy sofas.
